Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a senior SCADA Design Lead to drive in-house SCADA monitoring and control system designs for utility-scale PV, BESS, wind, and related projects. You will define standards, review complex drawings, and mentor engineers to ensure reliable, compliant solutions.

The role emphasizes remote collaboration across OT teams, interfaces with customers and third-party integrators, and delivering clear documentation for FATs and handoffs, with a focus on long-term reliability.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or energy engineering preferred (or equivalent).
• Industrial or utility-scale PV solar, BESS or Wind experience desired.
• Direct experience in SCADA engineering.
• Experience drafting engineering drawing sets for SCADA, networking, electrical, and/or substation designs.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex SCADA design workstreams for utility-scale PV, BESS, and other projects.
• Produce high-quality drawings and resolve complex technical issues.
• Define and improve SCADA design standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical reviews.
• Coordinate with customers and OT teams for commissioning and handover.
