Job summary

Accommodations Plus International seeks a Senior Sales Solutions Engineer to champion API-based enterprise SaaS solutions in the sales cycle. You will partner with Sales and Client Delivery to translate airline and travel-operator requirements into compelling API-driven architectures.

As a senior pre-sales professional, you will present demos, handle RFP responses, align with Product and Engineering, and travel ~20–25% to engage clients and partners worldwide.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in solutions or sales engineering for enterprise B2B SaaS.
• Experience supporting multi-stakeholder sales cycles and six- to seven-figure deals.
• Knowledge of APIs (REST/JSON) and data integration.
• Strong presentation, storytelling, and whiteboarding skills.
• Excellent written communication, including RFP responses.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel 20–25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with airlines, cruise lines, rail operators, and travel partners to uncover integration needs and success criteria.
• Design and present tailored solutions on API's SaaS platform translated into business value.
• Deliver live demos, proofs-of-concept, and executive presentations to diverse audiences.
• Own the technical response for RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and contract negotiations.
• Assess client systems and data flows and recommend API or file-based integrations.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Client Delivery to scope implementations and timelines.
• Ensure smooth handoff to Client Delivery post-sale.
• Support Account Executives with strategy, positioning, and forecasting.
• Capture market feedback and communicate product gaps to leadership.
• Build demo environments and sales collateral.
• Represent API at conferences and events.
