Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Coding Auditor to perform quality reviews, audits, and educational feedback across departments. The role emphasizes improving documentation and coding accuracy in outpatient settings.

You will guide staff, communicate findings, and support managers in maintaining coding standards and compliance in a nationwide remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Formal coding program completion; AHIMA/APACP credentials preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive professional medical coding/reimbursement experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/ICD-10-PCS; medical terminology; anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews and audits and coordinate with department managers to ensure standards.
• Create clear audit findings and recommendations for staff education.
• Identify documentation issues affecting coding accuracy and communicate improvement opportunities.
• Provide continuing education to coders and staff on coding changes and trends.
