PerkinElmer is seeking a Senior Materials Characterization Support Specialist to act as a remote technical expert for North America. You will triage, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and methodology issues across Materials Characterization platforms to maximize instrument uptime and minimize field visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years expert level experience with Materials Characterization Instrumentation on a repair level as a Subject Matter Expert (5+ years).
• Travel up to 25% for training (in the USA) and for quarterly field ride-alongs.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote diagnostics and triage for hardware, software, and application issues on Materials Characterization products.
• Guide customers through corrective actions to restore performance and uptime, remote or via service events.
• Mentor colleagues and share product updates across North America TAC and global teams.
