Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced ECH Field Engineer to deploy and support Emergency Call Handling solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. The role involves configuring systems, performing cutovers, and collaborating with customers and partners to ensure successful deployments.

You will travel up to 75% (US and international) and work with hybrid cloud, SaaS, and traditional infrastructure, leveraging your expertise in networking, virtualization, and telephony to deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years of deployment or integration experience with complex IP products.
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting including identity management (SSO/AD).
• Experience with server virtualization and OS administration.
• Familiar with Cisco IOS and Fortinet FortiGate.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions incl. hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cut.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations.
• Resolves installation/quality issues in a timely manner.
• Develops and approves methods of procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in customer negotiations and pre-contract briefings.
• Maintains SME skills in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
