Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a seasoned ECH Field Engineer to lead configuration, testing and deployment of Emergency Call Handling solutions. You will coordinate on-site and cloud-hosted environments, troubleshoot connectivity, and support customers and partners through production cutovers.

The role requires strong expertise in server and network infrastructure, virtualization, and Active Directory, with extensive travel (50-75%) across the US and internationally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering/technical environments.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearance for government contracts.
• US passport holder or eligibility for international travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, incl. hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between on-premise and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Documents changes, including cloud tenant configs and API integrations.
• Ensures installation/quality issues are resolved promptly.
• Develops and approves methods for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in customer negotiations as required.
• Maintains expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
