Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to manage on‑premise and cloud deployments across the US. You will configure, test, and support ECH systems in a remote role with extensive travel to customer sites and partners.

You will work with hybrid cloud environments, ensure seamless cutovers, and document configurations and APIs for ongoing support. A background in public safety tech and cloud readiness is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years deploying complex IP products and systems.
• Relevant Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) preferred.
• Experience with cloud troubleshooting, connectivity, latency, and identity (SSO/AD).
• US work authorization; travel up to 75%, including international.
• Experience with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based apps.
• Conducts site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between local infra and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and partners in production.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during deployment.
• Resolves installation/quality issues promptly and efficiently.
• Participates in MOP development for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract discussions and customer negotiations as needed.
• Maintains skills in evolving cloud-native public safety technologies.
