Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to lead on-site configuration, testing, and cutover for on-premise and cloud-hosted ECH solutions in a remote-capable role. You will collaborate with customers and partners to ensure smooth deployment and post-cut support.

The position requires strong cloud and virtualization experience, 3+ years in deployment of complex IP products, and travel up to 75% across the US and internationally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, etc.) and network/security basics.
• Experience with cloud-based application troubleshooting, including connectivity and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based apps.
• Site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during deployment.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
