Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information security or related discipline.
• 7+ years in information security, cloud engineering, database engineering, data engineering, or related field, including data protection.
• Strong SQL, security controls, encryption, and data governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains data protection controls across the enterprise data estate.
• Configures and operates encryption controls and CMKs, manages keys and vaults.
• Implements least-privilege access models and conducts entitlement reviews.
• Harden security configurations for Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure SQL, SQL Server, data lakes, and storage services.
• Embeds security controls into data ingestion, transformation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automates control deployment and compliance validation using scripting and IaC.
• Documents implementation guides, runbooks, and security design reviews.
