Job summary

SES Constructors LLC is seeking a Lead Estimator for its Civil Construction line. This role focuses on detailed estimates from plans, specs, and scopes of work, with a strong emphasis on self-perform heavy civil work.

The position is remote, requiring EST or CST availability and potential travel. The ideal candidate brings civil construction estimate experience, a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering, and proficiency with Bid2Win or HCSS.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Experience in self-perform civil infrastructure cost estimating is preferred.
• Proficiency with Bid2Win or HCSS and standard office software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates with crew assemblies and production rates.
• Provide detailed quantity takeoffs and material lists for cost assessment.
• Source and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for best-value bids.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans with the project team.
• Collaborate across field and office teams to meet submission deadlines.
• Support constructability reviews and vet subcontractor pricing as needed.
• Engage with operations post-award for alternates and site condition changes.
