Job summary

DoorDash Labs seeks a Senior Reliability & Test Engineer to advance unmanned platform validation at system and component levels. You will work with EE, ME, and Autonomy teams to translate mission needs into robust hardware and develop test methods and fixtures.

You will lead reliability programs and ensure rigorous test execution across facilities. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, Python automation, and cross-functional collaboration to improve field reliability and drive design iterations

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of professional experience in reliability validation or hardware testing for robotics or unmanned platforms.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering.
• Proficiency with environmental chambers, vibration tables, DAQ systems, and CAD/shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement validation strategies using Python for automation and develop test fixtures.
• Oversee experiments at internal labs and external facilities, manage vibration tables and environmental chambers.
• Translate reliability requirements into metrics for mechanical, electrical, and software sub-systems; lead FMEA/FTA sessions.
