Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Lead Release Train Engineer to coordinate delivery across multiple Agile Release Trains and related teams supporting mission-critical systems. You will establish execution standards, drive PI planning, manage dependencies, and provide program-level visibility.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as an RTE in SAFe, strong Jira usage, and TS/SCI clearance. This role requires collaboration with product owners, systems engineering, and leadership to keep priorities

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an RTE in SAFe or large-scale Agile environment.
• Experience leading PI planning and coordinating delivery across multiple Agile teams.
• Experience developing Agile metrics, reporting, forecasting, and program health assessments.
• Experience using Jira for Agile planning, execution, reporting, and governance.
• Knowledge of ART operations, dependency and risk management in large-scale Agile.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years, or 9+ years in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Establish Agile execution standards and governance across the program.
• Coordinate PI planning across multiple ARTs and teams.
• Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies and delivery risks.
• Drive synchronization across development, testing, operations, and sustainment.
• Ensure Jira reflects program status and commitments.
• Support governance of the technical execution baseline in Jira.
• Develop program-level metrics, reports, and health assessments.
• Monitor execution performance, capacity, and trends.
• Collaborate with product owners and systems engineering to stay aligned.
• Facilitate Scrum of Scrums and ART synchronization.
• Escalate significant risks and resource constraints to leadership.
