Electric Power Systems is seeking a Senior Relay Technician to lead protection and control testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting for substation and industrial projects across North America. The role emphasizes safe field execution, customer interface, and team mentorship.

Ideal candidates bring deep experience in relay testing, project leadership, and the ability to manage complex field assignments, schedules, and documentation to ensure reliable, compliant operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Willing to travel and work overtime as required.
• Experience installing, maintaining, testing and repairing protective relays in substations.

Responsibilities

• Lead protection and control testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting for substation projects.
• Install, commission, test, and verify relay panels, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Perform advanced end-to-end testing using relay test equipment and software.
• Read and validate protection schematics, logic diagrams, and configurations.
