Job summary

Truist Financial is hiring for a Regular, full-time Retail Banking associate in Tennessee. The role focuses on advanced client maintenance, consultative selling, and developing relationships to meet service and sales goals.

Requires strong communication, multitasking, and regulatory compliance readiness. Responsibilities include processing teller transactions, advising on consumer lending options, and supporting the branch sales process, with opportunities for growth within the Truist Retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment and able to pass NMLS background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and occasional weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests and advanced sales duties across deposit, credit, and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting/exceeding client service and branch sales targets by developing, expanding, and retaining relationships.
• Supports sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through meetings, training, and e-learning.
