Job summary

Truist in Sevierville, TN is seeking a Retail Relationship Banker to deliver industry-leading client service in person and over the phone, developing new and existing client relationships, and expanding financial solutions through consultative conversations.

You'll cross-train on teller duties, support branch sales targets, and refer complex needs to internal specialists while adhering to controls and risk policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours; some travel/overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets.
• Supports team sales process by referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates fully in all components of the Retail Community Bank routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through training.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Ensures compliance with internal controls and risk management policies.
• Delivers a consistent client service experience in-branch and over the phone.
