Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular, in-person banking professional in Tennessee to deliver industry leading client service and expand client relationships. You will handle in-person and phone interactions, advise on lending options, and may perform teller duties as needed.

The role emphasizes consultative conversations, referrals to specialists, and ongoing sales training to grow deposits, loans and cross-sell opportunities while maintaining compliance and quality service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel may be included.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by expanding client relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referrals to other specialists.
• Participates in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through training.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Ensures compliance with internal controls and policies; stays informed of changes.
• Maintains a consistent client service experience during transactions and client navigation within the branch.
