Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior Relationship Banker to develop and expand client relationships, offering financial solutions based on consultative conversations. You may be cross trained to perform teller duties as needed.

The role emphasizes advancing sales knowledge, participating in leadership routines, and delivering professional client service across deposits, credit, and other product lines, with a focus on meeting branch targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 4 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs;including temporary assignments or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests and advanced sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering products and developing relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referrals to internal specialists for complex needs.
• Participates in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through meetings and training.
