Job summary

Truist Bank seeks an energetic client service specialist to nurture relationships and expand the bank’s client base. You will provide in-person and phone support, offering financial solutions and coordinating referrals to partners for growth. You may perform teller duties when needed.

The role emphasizes selling, service, and product knowledge, with opportunities to develop client relationships and achieve branch targets. Regular hours in a retail banking environment are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and occasional weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests and sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by expanding relationships.
• Supports team sales process through consultative conversations and referrals to internal specialists.
• Participates in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances sales knowledge and product knowledge through ongoing training and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Ensures compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Engages clients warmly during transactions and helps them navigate the branch.
