Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Regional Banking Relationship Manager Sr. to acquire new business relationships and deepen existing ones. The role targets markets with sales sizes of $2–$50 million and credit exposures up to $25 million, focusing on companies with over $25 million in sales.

You’ll back up the Market Manager, provide credit and mentoring guidance, and collaborate with loan centers to ensure complete credit packages. Office-based with potential flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (4 year of education and Business Banking/ Commercial lending experience).
• 10+ years of Business Banking/Commercial Banking experience.
• Well-versed in complex commercial credits with 10+ years Business Banking or Commercial sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Acquires new, profitable business relationships through aggressive prospecting, networking and providing insights and advice.
• Analyze, structure and close profitable loan transactions of the most complex nature in Regional Banking.
• Maintain and confirm credit worthiness of customers. Gather, review and track appropriate documentation from applicants.
• Manages and maintains strong relationships with a book of existing business customers by providing insights and advice.
• Deepens existing relationships through active engagement of internal partnerships and providing insightful advice and guidance to customers.
• Delivers the entire bank to customers.
• Portfolio Management in varying sizes in terms of complexity of credits and number of accounts to include quarterly portfolio reviews, and CAR and collecting of necessary document.
• Represents the bank within the community through representation on keyboards and at business and community functions.
• Works well within a team environment and collaborates closely with internal partners to deliver customer solutions.
• Partner with more junior Regional Banking colleagues on more complex credits.
