Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Regional Banking Relationship Manager Sr. to acquire new business and deepen relationships with existing customers in the Chicago area. Target clients are businesses with $10MM–$50MM in sales and up to $25MM in credit exposure.

Responsibilities include structuring and closing complex loans, assessing credit worthiness, mentoring junior colleagues, and collaborating with internal partners to deliver comprehensive banking solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (4 year of education and Business Banking/ Commercial lending experience)
• 10+ years of Business Banking/Commercial Banking experience

Responsibilities

• Acquire new, profitable business relationships through prospecting and networking.
• Analyze, structure and close profitable loan transactions of the most complex nature.
• Maintain and confirm credit worthiness of customers and gather necessary documentation.
• Manage and maintain relationships with existing business customers, focusing on $2–$50MM sales with up to $25MM credit exposure.
• Deepen relationships through internal partnerships and provide insightful guidance to customers.
• Portfolio management including quarterly reviews and documentation.
• Collaborate with Huntington Loan Center and Commercial Loan Servicing to ensure complete credit packages.
• Represent the bank within the community and with internal partners to deliver client solutions.
• Mentor junior Regional Banking colleagues on complex credits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
