Job summary

Hussmann Corporation is seeking skilled Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain supermarket refrigeration systems and related HVAC equipment across a network of facilities. The role requires hands-on expertise, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to support start-up and maintenance projects.

Applicants should have EPA 608 certification, a high school diploma, and a background in HVAC/R with experience in commercial environments. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HVAC-R technical school degree preferred.
• External candidates: 10 years field experience or 7 years with certification.
• Internal candidates: 7 years experience with OJT & Skills Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnosis and repair of refrigeration, heating & air-conditioning systems.
• Assist with start-up of new refrigeration equipment.
• Lead PM programs and serve as technical resource to other technicians.
• Prepare estimates of material and labor for service/repair bids.
• Maintain truck inventory and complete paperwork accurately.
