Job summary

Hussmann is seeking an experienced field technician to perform maintenance, diagnosis and repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and lighting systems in supermarkets and cold storage facilities. The role requires independent work, strong customer relations, and identifying sales opportunities.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, EPA 608 certification, and 7+ years of field experience or 5 years with a technical school certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Must be physically able to walk, climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Diagnoses problems and identifies sales opportunities.
• Manage truck inventory and maintain parts with minimal waste.
• Complete documents and invoicing on time using handheld devices.
• Mentor other technicians and lead PM programs.
• Additional duties as assigned.
