Hussmann is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair refrigeration and related systems in supermarket and cold storage environments. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and a focus on customer relations.

Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, HVAC-R training, and EPA 608 certification. Travel with company vehicle and possible shift timing may apply, with overtime and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Formal Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred level: HVAC-R Technical School Degree.
• Experience: External candidates 7 years in the field or 5 years with certification; internal candidates 3 years as certified technician.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, diagnosis and repair of refrigeration, heating and air-conditioning systems in supermarkets, stores and cold storage facilities.
• Operates independently with minimal supervision and fosters customer relationships while identifying potential sales opportunities.
• Manage truck inventory; order, receive, bill out and maintain parts with minimal waste while keeping the vehicle within policy.
