Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a dedicated HVAC/R Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration systems. You will service supermarket and cold storage equipment, perform routine maintenance, and support installation activities as needed.

Candidate should have a high school diploma, HVAC/R knowledge, and a valid driver's license. EPA 608 certification is preferred. Travel and night/weekend work may be required, with sign-on bonuses and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Physically able to walk, climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred; related HVAC/R knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed, routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems and merchandisers.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration, heating and air conditioning systems with direction from senior technicians.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, leak detection, and coil cleaning in various store formats.
• Repair components on racks, replace motors, and service evaporators/condensers.
• Complete tickets and documentation accurately using handheld devices.
• Maintain truck inventory and adhere to vehicle policies.
