Job summary

Harnham is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Lead to own and elevate our training function in Phoenix and remotely support our NYC office. You will shape the development of recruitment consultants and lead onboarding, coaching, and ongoing training across the US team.

You will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs, measure impact on productivity and revenue, and partner with leadership to identify development opportunities as the Phoenix office grows.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in agency recruitment environments.
• Strong track record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets.
• Experience with outbound business development to win new business.
• Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle from client acquisition to placement.
• Passion for coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
• Outstanding communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and elevate performance across recruiters at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and continuously enhance Harnham's recruitment training programs.
• Lead onboarding and classroom training for all new hires.
• Coach recruiters through live desk-side mentoring, call coaching, role-playing, and one-on-one development sessions.
• Train consultants on Business Development & Client Acquisition.
• Cold Calling & Sales Techniques.
• Candidate Sourcing & Market Mapping.
• LinkedIn Recruiter & AI Recruiting Tools.
• Candidate Qualification & Interview Best Practices.
• Negotiation & Offer Management.
• Pipeline Management.
• Time Management & Desk Organization.
• Recruitment Strategy & Market Intelligence.
• Partner with leadership to identify development opportunities across the business.
• Measure training effectiveness through activity, productivity, placements, revenue growth, and consultant progression.
• Build engaging training materials, playbooks, workshops, and learning resources.
• Continuously improve our learning programs by incorporating industry best practices and emerging AI recruiting technologies.
