Job summary

Harnham is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Consultant to own and elevate our training function in Phoenix and remotely support the NYC office. You will shape the next generation of high-performing recruitment consultants through structured onboarding and ongoing professional development.

In this role you will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs, coach recruiters, and partner with leadership to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in agency recruitment and delivering placements.
• Proven ability to exceed revenue and billing targets.
• Strong coaching and development capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience onboarding and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and improve recruitment training programs.
• Lead onboarding and classroom training for new hires.
• Coach recruiters via live mentoring, call coaching, role-play.
• Train on business development, sourcing, market mapping, interviewing.
• Partner with leadership to identify development opportunities.
• Measure training effectiveness through metrics and outcomes.
• Create engaging training materials and resources.
• Incorporate AI recruiting technologies into programs.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Learning & Development Consultant you'll play a critical role in developing recruiters from their first day through every stage of their career.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and continuously enhance Harnham's recruitment training programs


• Lead onboarding and classroom training for all new hires


• Coach recruiters through live desk-side mentoring, call coaching, role-playing, and one-on-one development sessions

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

• Proven success within an agency recruitment environment


• Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue and billing targets


• Strong history of winning new business through outbound business development


• Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle from client acquisition through successful placement


• Passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams


• Outstanding communication, presentation, and facilitation skills


• Ability to inspire, motivate, and elevate performance across recruiters at all experience levels
