Saab AB is seeking a Senior Recruiter to identify, engage, and hire highly skilled technical talent, with a focus on engineering and operations. You’ll partner with hiring managers and HR to build pipelines, map markets, and design effective assessments in a fast-paced defense/tech environment.

The role is remote with a preference for candidates in Eastern or Central Time, and may require travel up to 15%. A strong background in sourcing passive talent and deploying strategic recruitment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 8+ years of recruiting/sourcing experience or a Master’s with 6+ years.
• N/A
• Experience recruiting engineering and operations talent in complex corporate environments.
• Proven ability to source passive candidates using Boolean search and strategic sourcing.
• Strong partnering with engineering leaders and HR partners to define assessment strategies.
• Workday experience preferred; ATS proficiency essential.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• U.S. citizenship or protected status as defined by law; pre-employment screens.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans and role requirements.
• Develop targeted recruiting and sourcing strategies for engineering and technical roles.
• Identify and engage passive candidates through multiple channels.
• Build high-quality pipelines for current and future needs.
• Conduct market mapping to understand compensation trends and talent availability.
• Define interview approaches and selection criteria with stakeholders.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial technical assessments.
• Advise managers on talent availability, compensation, and market conditions.
• Manage candidate activity and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate recruiting records in Workday.
• Support compensation analysis and offer development with HR partners.
• Assist with recruiting events and university outreach.
