Job summary

Cytel Inc. is seeking a senior epidemiology data analyst to support Real World Data (RWD) analytics for pharmaceutical research. You will collaborate with Epidemiologists to design studies, build analytical databases, and run analyses using SQL and SAS/R across large claims and EHR datasets.

You will present results, contribute to study reports, and help shape data standardization and visualization approaches while managing multiple projects with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, economics with 5+ years of RWE analytics experience.
• Proficiency in SQL is required; SAS or R proficiency is also required.
• Deep experience analyzing RWE sources like Optum Datamart, Truveta, and UK Biobank.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of study protocols and analysis plans leveraging large RWD sources (Claims and/or EHR).
• Liaise with data vendors to obtain relevant data extracts for research studies.
• Create analytical databases from data extracts to facilitate analyses.
