Job summary

Cytel is seeking a skilled epidemiology/RWE analyst to support the Epidemiology team in preparing real-world data and advising analytic strategies. You will program and conduct statistical analyses, link datasets, and develop algorithms to generate insightful results.

The role requires 5+ years of RWE analytics and strong SQL with SAS or R proficiency. You will collaborate with Medical Affairs, Global Patient Safety, and Regulatory groups on observational studies and present findings to clients.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, or related field with 5+ years of RWE analytics experience.
• Proficiency in SQL; SAS or R required.
• Experience with RWE data sources such as Optum/Clinformatics, Truveta, UK Biobank.
• Familiarity with relational databases and data extraction processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Epidemiology team by preparing real-world data and advising on analytic strategies.
• Program and conduct statistical analyses with coding, dataset linking, and algorithm creation.
• Support data standardization, visualization, and reporting of observational data.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Global Patient Safety and Regulatory teams on observational studies.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and prioritize multiple projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Produce tables/figures and present results to investigators and clients.
• Assist in study reports and deliverables, with potential supervisory responsibilities in the future.
