Job summary

Cytel Inc. is seeking a highly skilled epidemiology data scientist to support Real World Evidence analyses using large datasets (Claims and/or EHR). You will design analysis plans, liaise with data vendors, and build analytical databases to enable rigorous data analyses.

Applicants should have 5+ years of RWE analytics experience in pharma, CRO, or academia, with strong SQL and SAS or R skills, and familiarity with Clinformatics Datamart, Truveta, and UK Biobank. Excellent communication required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience conducting RWE analytics for pharma, CRO, or academia.
• Expert SQL; SAS or R proficiency required.
• Experience with Optum Clinformatics Datamart, Truveta, and UK Biobank.
• Knowledge of relational databases and claims data layouts.
• Experience with regression, survival, and propensity weighting methods.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing study protocols and analysis plans using large RWD.
• Liaise with data vendors for extracts aligned with protocols.
• Create analytical databases from extracts for analyses.
• Conduct analyses per study protocols and analysis plans.
• Produce tables/figures for investigators, clients, and reports.
• Present results internally and to clients.
• Assist in preparation of study reports; may supervise in future.
