Job summary

Cytel Inc. is seeking an experienced epidemiology/Data Analytics professional to advance real-world evidence analyses for pharmaceutical and regulatory programs. You will design analyses, manage large RWD sources, and collaborate with epidemiologists, data vendors, and clients to deliver actionable insights.

You will apply advanced statistical methods, lead data programming efforts, and ensure rigorous study protocols, reporting, and timely delivery across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in epidemiology/biostatistics, 5+ years in RWE analytics for pharma, CRO, or academia.
• Advanced SQL; SAS or R proficiency required.
• Extensive experience with RWE data sources (Optum Clinformatics Datamart®, Truveta, UK Biobank).
• Experience analyzing clinical trial and/or registry data.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and claims data layouts.
• Experience with regression, survival, Cox, GLM/GEE, and propensity weighting.
• Excellent project management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in study protocol and analysis plan development for large RWD (Claims/EHR).
• Liaise with data vendors to obtain data extracts aligned with protocols.
• Create analytical data sets to support analyses.
• Conduct analyses per study protocols and analysis plans.
• Produce tables and figures for discussions with investigators and clients.
• Present results internally and to clients.
• Assist in study reports and deliverables.
• Potential supervisory responsibilities in the future.
