Job summary

Vistra Corp. in Irving, Texas seeks a Program Manager for Real Estate Development & Commercial Strategy.

The role advances complex real estate and commercial matters supporting the company’s development portfolio, evaluating opportunities, mitigating risk, and translating objectives into executable strategies. You will coordinate with Development, Legal, Finance, Strategy, M&A, and other functions to push projects forward.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, finance, economics, energy, land management, or related discipline.
7+ years of corporate or commercial real estate, energy, land or infrastructure development experience.
Strong negotiation, commercial, influence, communication, and executive presentation skills.
Ability to independently coordinate complex matters with limited oversight and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

Manage development project deliverables, ensuring financeability and insurability are achieved.
Develop and execute real estate strategies based on project objectives, valuation, market conditions, and risk; lead negotiations with landowners and counterparties.
Optimize complex real estate transactions and commercial initiatives supporting corporate growth and development projects.
Independently identify, evaluate, and resolve real estate and commercial issues affecting project viability, schedule, cost, risk, or value.
Collaborate with cross-functional real estate workstreams to advance priority projects and provide strategic analysis and decision support to Real Estate leadership.
