Job summary

Vistra is seeking a Program Manager for Real Estate Development & Commercial Strategy to advance complex property matters within our development portfolio. You will assess corporate opportunities, mitigate risk, develop strategies, and coordinate negotiations with landowners and counterparties.

Lead cross-functional teams across Development, Strategy, Legal, Finance, and Engineering to translate objectives into executable plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
7+ years of corporate or commercial real estate/development experience.
Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, site control, contracts, valuation, due diligence, negotiations.
Proven ability to coordinate complex matters with limited oversight and escalate when needed.
Excellent negotiation, commercial, influence, communication, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Manage development project deliverables, ensuring financeability and insurability are achieved.
Develop and execute real estate strategies and commercial positions based on project objectives, economics, and risk; lead negotiations.
Optimize complex real estate transactions and commercial initiatives supporting corporate growth and development projects.
Identify, evaluate, and resolve complex real estate and commercial issues affecting project viability, schedule, cost, risk or value.
Collaborate with cross-functional real estate workstreams to advance priority projects and provide strategic analysis.
