Job summary

The Nuclear Company in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Manager, Reactor Services to lead planning, execution, and growth of our outage and field-service operations for commercial nuclear plants.

You will supervise reactor service technicians, ensure NRC compliance, and develop staff while partnering with utility customers to deliver safe, reliable, high-quality service. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power Plant Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience supporting reactor services, outages, or related nuclear services.
• 3+ years of leadership or project management overseeing technical teams and outages.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of reactor services projects, including refueling outage support and reactor maintenance.
• Provide technical leadership for reactor maintenance and ensure work complies with NRC regulations and ASME codes.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution strategies for assigned projects.
• Monitor performance, schedules, budgets, and KPIs to ensure successful delivery.
• Support proposal development, technical estimating, bid preparation, and business development.
• Maintain project documentation, maintenance records, and technical reports.
