Job summary

The Nuclear Company is seeking a Manager, Mechanical Services to lead TNC Services' mechanical maintenance and outage operations at commercial nuclear power plants. You will supervise field teams, drive safety, quality, and client satisfaction while expanding service capabilities.

This role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, 7+ years in maintenance or outage work, 3+ years in leadership, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of mechanical maintenance, repair, installation, or outage experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or project management experience overseeing technical teams or field service operations.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (pumps, seals, valves, heat exchangers, piping, rotating equipment).
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, P&IDs, OEM specs, and technical documentation.
• Travel up to 50% for outages and site work.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical maintenance, inspection, repair, installation, and outage projects from planning through completion.
• Provide technical leadership for mechanical field services and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Develop project scopes, work packages, schedules, budgets, and execution strategies.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, schedules, and KPIs to ensure successful delivery.
• Support proposal development, technical estimating, and business development initiatives.
• Maintain project documentation and records.
