Job summary

The Nuclear Company is seeking a Manager, Mechanical Services to lead planning, execution, and growth of TNC Services’ mechanical maintenance and outage support for commercial nuclear power plants. You will ensure safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction while guiding technical teams and coordinating with utility customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, installation, or outage execution in power generation/industrial settings.
• 3+ years of leadership or project management for technical teams or field services.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (pumps, seals, valves, heat exchangers, piping, rotating equipment).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, OEM specs, and technical docs.
• Experience managing complex maintenance or outage projects including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, and customer expectations.
• Working knowledge of nuclear safety culture, QA programs, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical maintenance and outage projects from planning through completion.
• Provide technical leadership for field services and ensure compliant workmanship.
• Develop scopes, schedules, staffing plans, budgets, and execution strategies.
• Monitor performance, budgets, schedules, and KPIs for project success.
• Support proposals, technical estimates, and business development for mechanical services.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting for informed decision-making.
