Job summary

The Nuclear Company in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Manager, Reactor Services to lead planning, execution, and growth of our reactor maintenance and field service operations across commercial nuclear plants. You will oversee refueling outage support, vessel inspections, and diagnostics while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

This role demands strong technical leadership, supplier and customer collaboration, and the ability to travel up to 50%+ to site locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power Plant Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in reactor services or related nuclear operations.
• 3+ years of leadership or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead reactor services projects including refueling outage support and inspections.
• Provide technical leadership ensuring compliance with NRC regulations and QA standards.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, staffing, budgets, and execution plans.
• Mentor and develop technical personnel and manage outage execution.
• Collaborate with utility customers to align outage objectives and service solutions.
