Job summary

TYLin International is seeking a senior rail and transit engineer in Bellevue, WA to lead track and civil design for major rail projects across the Pacific Northwest and the United States.

You will guide horizontal and vertical track alignments, manage design documentation, and ensure coordination with signaling, traction power, and communications disciplines. Mentorship and BD support are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical resource for track and civil design on major rail and transit projects.
• Lead the development of horizontal and vertical track alignments, turnouts, crossovers, and track layouts.
• Develop, review, and oversee engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with signaling, traction power, OCS, communications, civil, structural, and other disciplines.
• Provide technical leadership and quality control throughout planning, design and construction support.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and support business development activities.
