Job summary

TYLin Group is seeking a Senior Rail Track Design Engineer to lead track and civil design for rail/transit projects in the Pacific Northwest and across the U.S. The role focuses on horizontal/vertical alignments, special trackwork, and project delivery.

You will coordinate with signaling, OCS, and other disciplines, mentor junior staff, and contribute to proposals and client meetings while working in a hybrid environment in Bellevue, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state or ability to obtain licensure.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in rail track and civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead horizontal and vertical track alignments, turnouts, crossovers, and track layouts for stations and yards.
• Develop and review engineering plans, specs, calculations, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with signaling, OCS, traction power, and civil/structural disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development activities.
