Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Principal Project Manager, Rail & Transit to lead complex rail and transit programs across the Pacific Northwest, delivering projects from planning through delivery while guiding multidisciplinary teams and preserving TYLin’s technical standards.

You will also support client development and pursuits, leveraging relationships with public agencies and industry partners to strengthen TYLin’s regional presence in Washington, Oregon, and beyond.

Qualifications

• 15–25+ years in Rail & Transit project delivery.
• Proven PM/PD on major rail/transit projects.
• Deep expertise in civil, structural, track, facilities, systems, or transit infra.
• Strong execution: scope, schedule, budget, risk, coordination.
• Established relationships in Pacific Northwest transport market.
• Experience with public-sector transportation agencies and partners.
• Experience supporting pursuits without full sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex rail & transit programs across the Pacific Northwest (~70%).
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, track, systems, facilities, etc.
• Drive project execution from planning to delivery per TYLin standards.
• Provide senior technical guidance on design, constructability, and delivery strategy.
• Support client development, pursuits, and proposals in the region.
• Mentor and strengthen technical teams, elevating delivery capability.
