Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a senior Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional for project sites. The candidate will document, manage, and institutionalize QC activities, reporting to the VP of QA/QC. Responsibilities include leading the 3-Phase QC process and coordinating with owners and subcontractors.

The role requires a strong background in construction quality systems, EM 385-1-1 familiarity, and collaboration across teams on sensitive government projects. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering Technology.
• 10+ years in project supervision on similar construction.
• At least 2 years as QC Manager.
• Familiar with EM 385-1-1.
• Ability to work on sensitive projects involving critical systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the Quality Management System on the project.
• Control documents, records, and nonconforming installation.
• Initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Review engineering deliverables and ensure comments are addressed.
• Coordinate third-party design and testing agencies.
• Prepare daily quality control reports and field data logs.
• Manage punch lists and quality initiatives.
• Interface with Owner/End user to communicate requirements.
