M.C. Dean's Modular Mission Critical site near Richmond, VA, seeks a Quality Control Engineer to implement and manage the QC program, oversee field inspections, and ensure safety compliance.

The role emphasizes document control, audits, and process improvements to deliver durable, reliable installations. Requires a 5+ year engineering/construction management background, background check clearance, and knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC QC systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with a Bachelors Science Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, with Industrial/Systems Engineering preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Working knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System.

Responsabilités

• Gather customer specific quality requirements and develop project quality plan.
• Create and maintain project specific quality plan and ensure alignment with MMC QA plans.
• Conduct mutual understanding meetings with subcontractors.
• Maintain Quality Control Tracking Log with planned vs actual schedules.
• Create QC checklists and verify submittal approvals.
• Facilitate design reviews and interface with client representatives.
• Coordinate inspections with 3rd party inspectors and audits.
• Document processes using ISO, CMMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PMBOK, ITIL.
• Lead quality assurance activities, audits, and process improvements.
• Prepare quality reports and project scorecards for leadership.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions.
