Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead the project QC program on sensitive government contracts. You will establish the 3-Phase QC process, manage inspections, and ensure conformance to documents, drawings, and specifications while coordinating with Owner and subcontractors.

This role requires a BS in engineering/related field, 10+ years in QC/PM roles, familiarity with EM 385-1-1, active U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering Technology.
• 10+ years as Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Construction Manager on similar projects.
• At least 2 years as QC Manager.
• Familiar with EM 385-1-1.
• Ability to work on sensitive projects involving critical systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and review construction drawings and documents.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance (Top-Secret/SCI with Polygraph).

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement Quality Management System on the assigned project.
• Control of documents and records; nonconforming installation.
• Initiate corrective and preventive actions; CAPA.
• Review engineering deliverables and ensure comments addressed.
• Coordinate with Owner and 3rd party design/testing agencies.
• Prepare daily quality control reports.
