Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leading provider of building intelligence, seeks a seasoned Quality Control/QA Manager to oversee the project’s quality program on site.

You will lead the Quality Management System, coordinate with owners and engineers, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include managing inspections, CAPA, and daily quality reporting, while guiding a team and interfacing with 3rd party inspectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field required.
• 10+ years on large construction projects in roles like QC/PM/CM.
• Minimum 4 years as QC Manager.
• Ability to work on sensitive, security-cleared projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and documents.
• Proven teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Must pass basic background check and hold (or be able to obtain) required clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Management System on the project, controlling docs and nonconforming work.
• Initiate corrective and preventive actions; manage CAPA.
• Develop and implement the project quality plan tailored to contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Owner/End user and project team on quality expectations.
• Review engineering deliverables for comments and ensure resolutions.
• Oversee third party design and testing agencies as needed.
• Create daily quality control reports and weekly field data logs.
• Manage punch lists and closeout processes.
