Job summary

M.C. Dean in the United States seeks a seasoned Quality Control Manager for project sites, reporting to the VP of QA/QC. The role focuses on leading the Quality Management System, ensuring documentation, records control, and compliance with contract requirements.

Candidates must have a BS in engineering, 10+ years in construction/QC leadership, and a Top-Secret/TS clearance eligibility. The position offers challenging work on mission-critical projects with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Controls, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Architectural Engineering.
• 10+ years’ experience as a Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Manager on similar type and size construction
• At least 4 years’ experience as a QC Manager
• Ability to work on sensitive projects involving critical systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience applying USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System
• Active Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top-Secret/SCI and PSD Clearance required

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Management System on the assigned project.
• Control of Documents and Records and Nonconforming Installation.
• Initiation, follow-up, and closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Review Engineering deliverables for contract compliance.
• Coordinate with Owner/End user and third-party QA/QC agencies.
• Develop and submit daily quality control reports and weekly field data collection.
• Manage punch lists and ensure timely closeout.
