Job summary

Atomic HR is hiring a senior QA engineer to own automation and release readiness for a fast-growing SaaS platform used by frontline workers. The role is fully remote across the United States, with collaboration during U.S. business hours and a full-time, permanent arrangement.

You will define testing strategy, build end-to-end journeys, and run tests in GitHub Actions to ensure reliable releases. You will test the web app, APIs, and external systems, including AI features, while maintaining

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality, test or software engineering.
• Built test practices and wired into CI.
• Strong test code in Python or TypeScript across API, browser and pipeline.
• Experience as sole QA across multiple teams.
• Clear written updates for engineers and non-engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy and automation for releases.
• Provide release verdicts: what passed, what failed, what wasn’t checked.
• Test features across delivery teams and coach on testing their own work.
• Test web app, services and external systems including APIs and async flows.
• Build evaluation suites for AI features and guardrails.
• Seed realistic test data under data-protection rules and help find security issues.
