Job summary

Atomic HR is seeking a senior QA engineer to own test strategy and automation for a fast-growing, fully remote SaaS platform used by frontline workers. You will build end-to-end journeys, a smoke suite on every build, and integration tests with code engineers reviewing results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality, test or software engineering, with automation you wrote yourself, running in CI
• Strong test code in Python or TypeScript across API, browser and pipeline
• Experience as the sole QA across multiple teams, setting priorities with no backlog handed to you

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end journeys, a smoke suite on every build, and integration tests in code engineers review and keep
• Write a plain-language summary for non-engineers of what’s verified, and push back on a risky date with evidence
• Test APIs and asynchronous flows between services, and write contract tests for outside systems
• Seed realistic test data for a complex system inside strict access and data-protection rules
