Atomic HR is hiring a senior QA engineer to own automation across web apps, APIs, and AI-enabled features. You will build end-to-end tests, run in GitHub Actions, and craft evidence-based release verdicts. You’ll collaborate with customer-facing teams, define done criteria, and push back on risky deadlines.

This is a fully remote, US-wide role with real testing ownership. You will lead testing of complex workflows and ensure security and data handling compliance while continuously improving

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality, test or software engineering with automation you wrote yourself in CI
• Built a test practice from a low baseline and wired into CI
• Test code in Python or TypeScript across API, browser and pipeline
• Experience testing business rules after policy reading and gaps identification
• Experience as sole QA across several teams, setting priorities without backlog
• Clear written updates for engineers and non-engineers, and the ability to push back on deadlines with facts

Responsabilités

• Define test strategy and automation
• Identify where the product may break and what to test first
• Build end-to-end journeys, a smoke suite on every build, and integration tests
• Run tests in GitHub Actions and manage release verdicts
• Provide plain-language verification summaries and flag risky dates with evidence
• Test features with customer-facing teams during build, balancing workloads
• Define a shared definition of done and coach engineers on testing their work
• Test web app, services, and APIs across browsers and configurations
• Write contract tests for outside systems and guardrails for AI features
• Seed realistic test data under strict data-protection rules
