Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems
• Comfortable programming in Python and SQL
• Experience supporting Public Sector clients
• Built solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Expertise in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Science/ML technologies
• Degree in a quantitative discipline is desirable

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to help customers understand how Databricks can help solve their business problems
• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Databricks
• Consult on big data architecture and implement proofs of concept for strategic projects
• Build and present reference architectures, how-tos, and demos for customers
• Promote Databricks open-source projects across developer communities
• Travel to customers in your region
