Databricks Inc. is seeking a Sr. Solution Engineer to lead customer engagements across the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform.

You will collaborate with customers, product teams, and post‑sales groups to identify use cases, design architectures, and guide implementation to realize value. This is a customer‑facing role with travel to customers in your region. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in pre‑sales/technical architecture, strong Python/SQL skills, and experience with public cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer‑facing pre‑sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in Python and SQL.
• Experience supporting Public Sector clients.
• Have built solutions with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or similar data engineering technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to help customers understand how Databricks can help solve their business problems.
• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Databricks.
• Consult on big data architectures, implement POCs, data science and ML projects, and validate cloud and 3rd party integrations.
• Build and present reference architectures, how‑tos, and demo applications for customers.
• Promote Databricks and open‑source projects across developer communities.
• Travel to customers in your region.
